Scott Cawley have excellent experience of ecological surveying techniques at various stages of development planning and design. These include:

Phase 1 Habitat Survey, following both the Heritage Council’s Guide to Habitats and the UK Joint Nature Conservation Committee habitat survey methodologies.
Phase 2 vegetation surveys following the UK National Vegetation Classification system.
Specialist Ecological Surveys: These are often required in a range of circumstances including:

- Responding to Requests for Further Information;

Staff at Scott Cawley are all members of the Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management and their standards of surveying and reporting are in accordance with the IEEM’s Code of Professional Practice and also formal surveying standards applicable in Ireland.
